De UT (Universiteit Twente) zoekt deelnemers voor het testen van een ondersteuningssysteem voor fietsers. Dit systeem heeft het doel om fietssnelheden die hoger zijn dan gepast bij die verkeerssituatie te voorkomen. Ook willen we deze "smart connected bicycles" beter leren begrijpen. Het systeem geeft signalen via een slimme helm op basis van uw locatie. Trapondersteuning wordt uitgezet waar nodig, en soms zal er zelfs via de motor afgeremd worden. De test bestaat uit het fietsen van drie rondjes door Twekkelerveld. Gedurende de rit wordt u gemonitord door verschillende sensoren. Vooraf en achteraf nemen we een enquete bij u af.

De testen worden uitgevoerd op 21, 22, 23 en 25 april. Als dank voor uw deelname worden onder alle deelnemers 2 cadeaubonnen t.w.v. 50 euro verloot. Deelname kan vanaf 18 jaar en indien u zichzelf comfortabel voelt bij fietsen in stedelijk verkeer.

The UT (University of Twente) seeks participants for testing a new assistance system for cyclists. This system aims to prevent cycling speeds that are higher than suitable for that specific traffic situation. It also aims to understand these "Smart Connected Bicycles" better. The system provides signals via a smart helmet based on your location. The motor support will be switched off where necessary, and in some cases the bike will decelerate by increasing the motor resistance. The test consists of three cycling rounds through Twekkelerveld. During the ride you will be monitored by various sensors. Before and afterwards you will be asked to fill in a questionnaire.

The tests are performed on 21, 22, 23 and 25 April. To thank you for participating you will be eligible to win one of the two vouchers with a value of 50 euros. Participation is possible for everyone who is 18 years or older, and is comfortable with cycling in city traffic.
